Size

Low-profile knee protection for everyday laps.

Air Knee Pads extend coverage beyond the kneecap to the inner and outer knee, with flexible cushioning designed to stay aligned as you bend and move.

• Full kneecap XRD layer with zoned ESA and NBR cushioning
• Up to approximately 18.5 mm at the core protection area
• Protection mapped around the patella and vulnerable side zones
• Stretch LYCRA support and anti-slip details reduce shifting
• Breathable mesh behind the knee helps release heat
• Reinforced high-wear paneling for repeated falls
• Adjustable straps and six sizes from XS–XXL

Protective equipment can reduce impact risk but cannot prevent all injuries. Material thickness and configuration should be confirmed for the final production SKU.

Powered by XRD® Impact Protection

XRD® is the core impact-protection material inside D-Air. It remains soft and flexible during normal movement, then firms upon impact to help absorb and disperse impact energy.

90%

Up to 90% Impact Absorption

XRD® technology helps absorb and disperse impact energy when you hit the snow.

FLEX

Flexible During Movement

Soft, flexible protection that follows your natural skiing movement.

XRD

Firms Upon Impact

The responsive material firms when impact occurs, providing protection without a rigid, bulky structure.

*Based on information provided by Rogers Corporation for XRD® impact-protection materials. Impact absorption was measured using ASTM F1614. Performance may vary by material configuration and impact conditions.

Protection Mapped to Key Impact Zones

Contoured protective panels cover five key impact zones while following the natural shape and movement of the body.

Hip Bones Outer Hips Tailbone Sit Bones Outer Glutes

Protection Without Unnecessary Bulk

Flexible multi-layer cushioning, a low-profile fit and reinforced materials create protection designed for natural movement.

Flexible Multi-Layer Cushioning

XRD® works together with complementary RB and NBR cushioning materials to help absorb impact and distribute pressure.

SGS-Tested Abrasion Resistance

Aramid-blend reinforcement adds abrasion resistance in selected high-wear zones.

Slim, Low-Profile Fit

Body-contoured protection fits comfortably underneath snow pants without unnecessary bulk.

Designed to Stay in Place

A high-rise waistband, adjustable drawcord and anti-slip details help keep the protective panels properly aligned.

Breathable Stretch Fabrics

Breathable, flexible fabrics in heat-prone areas improve airflow while following dynamic movement.

Removable Protective Pads

The protective pads can be removed for inspection and easier product care.

*Abrasion resistance was tested by SGS according to ASTM D3884-22 using a Taber abrader, H-18 wheel and 500 g load. Test endpoint exceeded 300 cycles. Report No. GZHL260502535201SP-1.

Which Protection Level Is Right for You?

Both D-Air and D-Pro use XRD® impact technology. Compare their coverage, cushioning thickness and fit to find your preferred balance of protection and mobility.

Feature D-Air D-Pro
Protection Profile Core-Zone Protection Targeted protection with a low-profile fit Expanded Protection Broader coverage with more substantial cushioning
Maximum Core Padding Thickness 18.5 mm Low-profile multi-layer cushioning 23 mm More substantial multi-layer cushioning
XRD® Thickness at Hip Zones 6 mm Balances impact protection and a streamlined fit 6–12 mm, depending on zone Zoned thickness for expanded protection
Coverage Key Impact Zones Hip bones, outer hips, tailbone, sit bones and outer glutes Broader Surrounding Zones Expanded coverage around key impact areas
Fit Slim and Low Profile Prioritizes freedom of movement More Substantial Balances broader coverage and mobility
Best For Riders who prioritize a streamlined fit and unrestricted movement Riders who want broader coverage and more substantial cushioning

*Maximum thickness refers to the thickest point within the core protective zones, not the overall garment thickness. XRD® layer thickness varies between protective zones.

Size & Fit

Natural Garment Measurements

All measurements are taken from the garment in its natural, unstretched state. Stretch fabrics provide additional give for a close, flexible fit. Measurements are garment measurements, not body measurements.

Are the protective pads removable?
Yes. The protective pads can be removed for inspection and easier care. Note their position and orientation before removal.
Are the size-chart measurements body measurements?
No. The chart shows the garment in its natural, unstretched state. The stretch fabrics provide additional give when worn.
How should I clean the shorts?
Do not wash or soak the product. Use a soft damp cloth with diluted neutral detergent to spot-clean soiled areas, then hang to dry in the shade.
